According to the News of the World Steve Bruce is going to place a January bid for Sint-Truidense keeper Simon Mignolet. The under 21 Belgian International's current club are desperate to hang on to the 6.4" stopper but are unlike to be able to match the financial muscle of Sunderland AFC.
