In light of all the past and present interest in Sunderland's star striker Kenwyne Jones, Niall Quinn is reportedly about to offer Jones a major new contract.

Two official bids from Spurs, also Aston Villa and Chelsea have been reported to be keeping a close eye on the big forward, chairman Niall Quinn is about to offer Jones a new contract which will included an hefty pay rise to keep him at the Stadium of Light for seasons to come.
